Meet Nate

A Valley native, Nate is passionate about serving his community. As executive director, Nate holistically oversees and leads the organization while advocating for the advancement of health and human services. His prior experience comes from healthcare and higher education administration, where he built effective teams, increased operational efficiencies, communications and inspired innovation. He is a proven servant leader and administrator who is thrilled to be part of this exciting time.

 

Nate earned his bachelor's in psychology and a Master of Public Administration from Regent University in Virginia Beach, Virginia. He is engaged in the following: 

 

• Board Member, Mt. Olive Brethren Church 

• Co-leader, Health Community Collaborative 

• Sector Member, Faces 4 Change Harrisonburg 

• Board Member, Blue Ridge CASA for Children 

• Board Member, Valley Community Services Board 

• Deputy Chair, Western VA CoC Media & Advocacy Committee 

 

Nate enjoys exploring the outdoors and listening to various music genres and podcasts with his wife and two kids who currently live in Staunton.
