Meet Robyn

Robyn.jpg

Robyn comes from a family with deep commitment to community service. From a very young age she served meals at local soup kitchens, built homes with Habitat for Humanity and read to residents at
nursing homes. Early in her professional career, she spent a few years with The Salvation Army, where she learned a lot about homelessness, various levels of shelter service, and the benefits of integrating
shelter with access to other services that can be hard to access for those who do not have a permanent
address.

Robyn graduated from University of Washington with a BA in English Literature then got her JD from Washington & Lee University while also raising her two sons, Nicholas and Cymrych.

She practiced law for 7 years focusing on estate planning and non-profit organizations. After spending a few years as a charitable gift planner, she gravitated to her current work as a financial planner and earned credentials as a Certified Financial Planner® professional and Certified Divorce Financial Analyst. Along the way, she also met her husband of five years, Michael Neupauer. Her current involvement in the community
includes serving on the boards of Ten Thousand Villages and the Rotary Club of Harrisonburg, helping to organize the annual Shenandoah Valley bicycle century and volunteering with Oasis and a local food
pantry.
